Coordinates of Resort "Vognyk: Volchansk road 35, Volchansk district, village Metallovka, Kharkov region Ukraine Several practical informations: The next Trans-European School of High Energy Physics will be held at the Resort "Vognyk" in Ukraine from July 9th to July 16th, 2013. All participants should arrive in the evening of July 8 and leave on July 17 morning. The nearest airport is the Kharkiv airport with direct flights from Kiev, Moscow, Istanbul and Vienne. Also there are several trains and buses per day, linking Kharkiv and Kiev. On the day of arrival and the day of departure, the bus will be organised between Kharkiv and the school venue. |   |
Transportation to resort "Vognyk", in case you will not use organized TESHEP transportation. By BUS from Kharkiv: The buses to resort "Vognyk" run from Bus Station #3 in Kharkiv (address: Povstannia Sq. 6, located about 300 m from any of the metro stations "Sportyvna" or "Plosshcha Povstannia"). From Bus Station #3 take a bus from Kharkiv in the direction of Vovchansk (through Staryi Saltov). The first bus departs from Kharkov at 06:00, the last one - at 18:02. Get out at the stop called "Metailivka". The travel time from Kharkiv is about 1 hour, the ticket price is 16.69 UAH. From this stop go straight ahead by about 50 m along the motor road, and then turn left into the forest (at this turn there are signs indicating resorts "Vognyk" and "Intourist"). Then go ahead about 200-300 m, and resort "Vognyk" is located on the left (and "Intourist" is ahead). | |
